Are you a part-qualified finance professional with a passion for the dynamic world of travel? We’re on the lookout for a talented individual with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar financial role. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our accounts department, contributing to the success of our busy travel company.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our financial processes and controls, with a focus on various tasks including overseeing the reconciliation of vendor and Supplier accounts, sterling and currency bank accounts, preparation of the CAA & ABTA quarterly reports and of course the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
Your strengths and skills:
We are looking for candidates who are part qualified as ACCA/CIMA/ACA and wishing to pursue their full qualifications. You must have knowledge and experience in VAT returns, licence renewals, relevant compliance standards and preparation of statutory accounts to audit standard. Candidates who have experience from within corporate travel would be advantageous. You will bring to the team your drive for results and organisation skills to ensure your methodical approach reaches the goals of the role and the business.
